Review of The Three Musketeers (2011) by Frances H — 27 Nov 2012
Although a lot of money was spent on costumes, 3-D, sets, action choreography, etc. someone should have paid more attention to the ridiculous script, rather than the fake special effects that are more suited to a Resident Evil flick.
The quintessential Three Musketeers is still the seventies version. Only the sword play is interesting, although over the top until it's almost as ridiculous as the rest of this mindless, totally missable picture.
Christopher Waltz and Matthew MacFadyen are utterly wasted.
