Review of The Three Faces of Eve (1957) by Kevin W — 28 Aug 2008
Very interesting movie, especially if you consider that it's a true story. It does suffer a little from age though. We get a sense of "been there, done that," even though most movies about multiple personality disorders are fiction.
But Joanne Woodward's strong performance helps carry this movie to the finish line. And what I like more than anything else, is that this film doesn't go for shallow shocks (in general) like a modern movie would.
It's addresses the real-life conundrums of what it would be like to have three distinct identities existing within one person.
