Review of The Three Faces of Eve (1957) by Woody W — 18 Aug 2007
Still a good movie with good performances, but kind of dated now. To me, the best judge of a movie is how it ages. Movies like Citizen Kane, 12 Angry Men, Lawrence of Arabia, etc. stand the test of time. Chuckles over poor script writing, sloppy acting, poor sound, and bad editing are not in these movies.
I remember watching Eve many times over the years, but this recent viewing left me less impressed, even with Joanne Woodward's performance. Watching it now just makes me think of the channeling buffoons like Ramtha...
