Review of The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada (2005) by Adam G — 30 Jun 2008
A profound film, one which finds a quiet solace in the simple promises we may make, and what we do do to uphold them (and in turn, how they change us). Guillermo Arriaga is one of the most talented writers in film today; the script here is something Paul Haggis might've written, assuming he had a heart and soul.
