It really needed some tightening up on the screenplay. Tommy Lee Jones more than has the goods as a director. It had a bunch of quality performances, Tommy Lee leading the way. The story is both tragic and heartwarming at times but it drags more than a few times.
And for a movie like this it can't afford to drag like it did.
