Review of The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada (2005) by Mountainaire — 16 Sep 2008
I know I said that 'The Assassination of Jesse James' was the only contender for the 'Great Western' title in recent times, but that was before I saw this. Unfolds gradually, achieving an emotional grandeur worthy of 'The Searchers'.
The journey is more rewarding than the final destination, but nonetheless this is a fine film.
