Review of The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada (2005) by Nathan N — 24 Dec 2008
An incredible movie that I can't reccomend highly enough. An effective morality tale with a sharp edge. Jones is incredible on both sides of the camera, renewing his signiture character type that had been mostly stale for years.
He isn't alone though. Every member of the cast is fantastic, playing their character's with flawlessly, some with bizare heart and others with blistering ignorance. I will have to see it again.
It may need to be raised half a star.
