Review of The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada (2005) by Tamatai N — 27 Feb 2010
An intreguing and incredibly gripping tale of death, friendship and redemption. I'll have to admit, it took a while for this film to sink in, but once the storyline fully let-rip I was completely drawn into the characters and plotline.
It seems a bit too drawn-out in places and, as I said, the first half of the film tends to be a bit all-over-the-place, but if you're patient it turns out to be a rewarding and original drama.
