I love the use of retro style titles and the simplicity of the cutting. It reminded me of the of a western c. 1966.
Tommy Lee Jone's performance as a tough and loving old cowboy felt so real it could've been documentary, and the film's location in the desert no-man's land between Texas and Mexico was breathtaking.
