Review of The Thomas Crown Affair (1999) by Jani H — 07 Jan 2009
A very mediocre film about a billionaire who obviously wants challenges.
The film looks good and the lead actors have a good chemistry between them. But I just didn't warm up for the movie. It's boring and slow paced and never really gets that exiting. Predictable from the first moment when the two main characters meet on the screen.
Denis Leary's screen time should've been a lot bigger. He was the most interesting character in the movie. In the beginning we find out stuff about his past and so on, but when the two lovebirds start their teasing, Leary's character is gone...
Nice views, a lot of sex scenes and some obvious "twists" in the end... No effort here.
