Review of The Thomas Crown Affair (1968) by Jake C — 06 Jan 2018
I can look back, without the nostalgia goggles, and acknowledge how gratuitous portions of the film are. But to see a movie that flows so well, that is both so funny and visually expressive is refreshing.
It's so innovative that, had it been made in France, it might have been placed along the likes of "Breathless" and "Jules and Jim." It may not be as great as those films, especially the latter, but it's still pure entertainment.
