Review of The Thirteenth Floor (1999) by Shafqat A — 22 Aug 2008
If the script didn't accidentally reveal its central "twist" about half an hour earlier than it was supposed to and then sloppily try to cover it up, and if the dialogue wasn't so bad as to merit fast-forwarding -- after all, you known what they're going to say before htey say it -- then this movie could have been a pseudo-enjoyable "Dark City" ripoff.
But it wasn't pseudo-enjoyable. It was total shit.
