Review of The Third Man (1949) by Matthew P — 26 Feb 2009
What a beautiful, subversive, dark film. Orson Welles steals the screen with his cameo, but it's Cotton who is the heart of the film. The last shot is absolute perfection. Quite possibly one of the greatest films of all time.
