Review of The Third Man (1949) by Manuel S — 19 Feb 2010
A foreign writer looking for his friend, looks into the deadly accident details and starts investigating the matters. The background provided by the zither is excellent, giving enough suspense as well as Valli, Welles, and Cotten excellent acting.
I enjoyed Vienna`s atmosphere and the camera sequences and lightning (beautiful night scenes through the stoned streets of Vienna). I disliked the end as believe is unrealistic and an unfavorable mistake of the script.
