Review of The Third Man (1949) by Aaron E — 24 Jun 2010
Barely 3 stars by the skin of Orson Welles teeth. I found it kind of boring except for the scenes that include Orson Welles. He was great in it. I think Joseph Cotten really annoyed me the most. I just didn't have a good time watching this.
The reasoning behind the whole movie fell flat. The technique of the movie is top notch and I respect that, but I love story and performances, and only Welle's performance really lived up to this movie's billing.
