Review of The Third Man (1949) by Lauri L — 08 Nov 2011
Ok. First. I am not sure what is the story here: with the peniciline etc. And then second. This is just fabulous. It feels like Coen movie in its smirky attitude towards point in history after WWII, but as in Coen movies actors are excellent - I like even Joseph Cotten who plays it neutral and doesn't give much away.
Soundtrack points at these comical elements and camera perspectives that are off in illogical fashion point that this is caricature of what's going on.
