Review of The Third Man (1949) by Patrick M — 13 Jan 2012
Good dialogue. Great direction and great cinematography. Terribly slow to really get going, but the climax is wonderfully frantic. I didn't much care for the story either. It's a bit all over the place as far as quality goes and overrated, I think.
Orson Welles is great; however, I just wish we got to see and hear him more in this film. It's one of those movies that could have been great, but just failed to deliver.
