Review of The Third Man (1949) by Michael C — 05 Jul 2017
Excellent. That one word pretty much sums up "The Third Man" but I think I will say more. Everything works here. From the excellent acting, to the incredible lighting to the terrific camera work.
The scene of Joseph Cotton and Orson Welles on the Ferris Wheel is nothing short of amazing. I was particularly amused seeing a pre-James Bond Bernard Lee as Payne. I just saw this movie for a second time and enjoyed it even more.
I think you will enjoy it too.
