Classic film noir that stands the test of time. Director Carol Reed superbly captures Post World War II Europe. Joseph Cotten, never better, moves to Europe in hopes of a job from his friend, but finds his friend to be dead. Cotten travels the streets to get to the bottom of his demise.
Atmospheric and spellbinding. A true classic.
