Review of The Thing from Another World (1951) by Allan S — 11 Aug 2008

What a great film. You really have to love the stupid scientist who is so blind that he nearly gets killed while trying to communicate, in English, to a weed from space. There's also the brave hero who is forced into winning the girl, but above all else a creature that travelled through space, crashed on Earth & yet all it can do is moan, oh yeah & thrive on mammalian blood products - wow it must have been really hungry before it arrived on Earth.

A classic that you just have to watch.
