The thing, remake and update. Kate Lloyd as a paleontologist travels to the remote part of an isolated region after a science team have discover and extra terrestrial buried under ice.
It is her job to extract the being and perform tests etc on the being, only problem is the beast awakens when it is removed from the ice. The thing has the power to copy and mimic anyone or anything it touches. The team try to survive and in the battle some gruesome secrets are revealed.
The movie is almost as good as the original with some excellent trickery and cgi graphics to create the updated thing. Edgerton and Winstead have allot of on screen chemistry and perform well together.
