Not as good as the original of course, but most people do not understand this is a prequel not a remake. If you like the original Thing from the 80s , this movie is worth watching, because it shows what happened before the Americans found The Thing, make sure you watch the ending with the credits or you will miss how they chased the dog with the helicopter which was the beginning of the original movie.
