Review of The Thing (1982) by Jamey B — 29 Jul 2012
The Blu-Ray captures this tale of horror set in Antarctica in all its glory. John Carpenter's direction and musical score produce a tangible feeling of dread as the characters feverishly try to figure out who is human and who is not.
Kurt Russell is awesome as the flawed chopper pilot, just trying to stay alive. The imaginative creature effects will be burnt into your memory. I highly recommend this paranoid, horror/sci-fi film.
