The Thing about The Thing is that it was pretty good! Garsh darn, if you can get by the 30+yr old special effects, then you will enjoy this John Carpenter classic (that ironically was a flop in the box office and initially got panned by critics and audiences alike).
Gotta check this movie out with no expectations and you'll have an enjoyable time. Only thing I would change: I'd like a better ending- good ending, but feel it could have delivered a bigger punch.
