Review of The Thing (1982) by David K — 09 Feb 2015
Gave this another look during my recent Halloween movie marathon to help clear the To-Watch Pile a bit.
Carpenter's paranoia-infused practical effects fest still holds up amazingly well even 25+ years later, truly a testament to the talents involved. They really never put a foot wrong as they created the creature effects, everything is still rather disturbing to this day.
Great film, well worth a re-visit.
