To me, John Carpenter's The Thing, is one of the most perfect horror movies ever made. Its perfect in everything, In tone, suspense, characters, acting, setting, terror, and especially effects. This movie has some the best special effects in all of cinema.
To this day, they are still great, or to public eye of the modern day, creative and repulsive. This movie is a must-see.
