Review of The Thing (1982) by Marco M — 14 Oct 2012
Easily one of my favorite movies ever: everything from acting to practical effect is top-notch, the atmosphere sends (appropriately) chills down your spine and both characters and story are so well written they put to shame many later movies of the same genre.
If that's not enough there's one of the best Kurt Russel ever in it, seriously everyone should see it.
