This is one of the best sci-fi movies I have ever seen. I love the absolutely hideous amounts of uncomfortable going on in it, added with the powerful imagery of the repulsive alien. What I love about the movie the most, is how you literally have no idea which of these guys is infected, right up until they have to confront the alien in some way.
Love the special effects, love the story, love the atmosphere, and... who didn't want to see Wilford Brimley get away in a one man UFO? That would have been hilariously awesome.
