One of the best horror movies ever made...and surprisingly it is a remake. John Carpenter created such a classic by following the best rules for horror....keep it claustrophobic, keep it suspenseful, and make the characters believable, so the gore becomes believable. Everything about this movie works so well.
Kurt Russel is amazing. Wilford Brimley is amazing and the remaining cast are great too...even the dog is great. The creature is a thing of nightmares.
I can't rave enough about this movie.
