Classic horror at its finest. Claustrophobic horror with a ghoulish monster that can be anyone and several anyones at anytime anywhere. The Thing deals with basic fears of distrust, hopelessness, paranoia, and being trapped.
It's easily re-watchable for the performances, the suspense, the effects, and subtle creepy soundtrack.
