Review of The Thin Red Line (1998) by Dominic H — 03 Apr 2010
I have mixed feelings about this film. I don't feel like the message was very well conveyed; I had a few too many "huh?" moments. The huge cast makes it difficult to develop the characters that the screenwriter is most concerned with, and it is extra difficult to pin down the chronology of the scenes.
Still, a pretty and heterodox approach to war film.
