Review of The Thin Red Line (1998) by Mark W — 10 Oct 2010
Some solid battle scenes in this movie, but all of the dialogue going on inside the soldier's heads really killed it for me. The soldiers thoughts could have easily been conveyed through facial expressions and body language.
It was also probably the most boring opening 45-60 mins of any war movie I have seen. The second half of the movie was very good, but by then I was already turned off.
