Review of The Thin Red Line (1998) by Marcel S — 11 Dec 2010
The best war film that is really not about war. It's about liveing, dying and the human condition and all play a part inbetween the event of WWII. The movie is set in the pacific campaign and follows some soldiers in the battles of Guadalcanal.
The movie is more an exploration of character and their "soul" using narration. The cinematography is the best as always Malick does. The music is also a higlight. Terrence Malick is one of the besy director ever.
