Review of The Thin Red Line (1998) by Alex W — 24 Dec 2010
70% montage of beautiful landscapes, soldiers in camp, people dying, and natives running around Guadalcanal; 29% battle; 1% Clooney. The cinematography is excellent, but the characters are hard to keep track of (even though they're all stars) and there's hardly any dialog.
