Review of The Thin Red Line (1998) by Adam F — 25 Dec 2010
Perhaps the movies greatest downfall is that is came out the same year as "Saving Private Ryan". This film moved along at a slower pace and relied heavily on narration to convey the plot. It was good and director Terrence Malick's use of imagery was outstanding, but for a film that runs three hours, it just felt a little too flat to maintain my attention.
