Review of The Thin Red Line (1998) by Filmgrinder S — 24 Feb 2012
Visually stunning and raw without being excessive. Except the running time, which is more torture than a WWII Internment Camp in Burma. But if you can suffer through it it's worth it. Great ensemble cast.
More esoteric yet similar in theme to "All Quiet on the Western Front".
