Review of The Thin Blue Line (1988) by Maryelle D — 02 Feb 2008
Excellent.raw interviews that give it all its strength. Interviewees are not tagged, which forces you to listen to what they say in order to determine who they are. David Harris is scary in his good-looking, remorseless, quiet way.
No final word is ever said about who killed the policeman. Randall Adams, who was convicted for the murder, has this amazingly quiet but angry way to tell the story of how he ended up convicted and on death row.
his description of his time on the death row: people just talk about how they r going to be electrocuted all the time; how eyes will pop out, and you ll bleed by every possible orifice.
