Review of The Thief of Bagdad (1940) by Ricardo O — 17 May 2011
Dazzling special effects and performances by Sabu as the title character and Conrad Veidt as the wicked Grand Vizier Jaffar highlight this classic fairy tale. As equally thrilling as The Wizard of Oz and the later Disney picture Aladdin, which took most of it's inspiration directly from this tale based on a 1920s novel that is based on the collected Arabian Nights tales.
It's an awesome movie. 10/10.
