An absolutely fantastic film for its time, The Thief of Baghdad is one of the most ambitious, colorful, and entertaining movies ever made. Very much like a live action Aladdin, the movie follows a thief (appropriately named Abu), and his pursuits to help Prince Ahmad overthrow the evil and sorcerous Jaffar.
I've loved this movie since I was a kid, and it has never once felt dated to me at all.
