The thief of bagdad will always be my favorite childhood movie. I finally got the chance to watch it again and I still remember every single detail like if it was yesterday. It's a must see classic and can easily be called the best fantasy/adventure movie of all time.
Rex Ingmar is delightful as the Djinni, and Sabu is unforgettable as Abu the thief. The special effects are absolutely brilliant (though the movie was filmed in 1940).
