I must admit that I did not expect much from The Theory of Everything before seeing it because I assume that it is a pure romantic movie although we all know how this couple ends in real life. However, the story is indeed much better than I thought and the editing is very good.
Not to mention excellent acting from Eddie Redmayne, Felicity Jones, Charlie Cox, Maxine Peake, Harry Lloyd, etc. You do not need to know many scientific terms for this movie because it is not intended to educate people about science itself anyway.
It touches on Stephen Hawking's works by using layman's terms. Good storytelling.
