Review of The Theory of Everything (2014) by Brandon W — 27 Mar 2015
The Theory of Everything is an excellent movie that really respects Steven Hawking very well. Eddie Redmayne did a fantastic job as Steven Hawking, he plays him really authentic that I think that he really is him, and I'm not gonna lie, I'm really glad he deserve an Academy award for best actor.
Felicity Jones is terrific in this and I'm also glad that she is getting recognitions for it. It shows the difficulties of a wife taking care of a married man that is handicapped, but she always try her best to take care of the situation, which that's love at the very best.
There's always a time that she could've just left him and think for herself, but she was always there for him, and that's a supporting wife at best. The soundtrack is really good, and the writing is great.
The plot is really good, and it really does show every step of Motor neuron disease and it can affect such a person. The chemistry between the two main characters is fantastic, and the ending is a heartfelt conclusion to the film.
The Theory of Everything is one of the best films of 2014 that I'm glad it got recognize by the Oscars.
