Review of The Thaw (2009) by Phil F — 25 Sep 2009
The Thaw is one of those movies that will make you think. Think about the future of the world. It is actually a very realistic look at what could be the end of our race if it were to ever happen and this could easily happen.
The movie is about global warming and how the melting ice caps could hold mysterious organisms that haven't been seen on this planet for millions of years, and how those organisms could be the end of us all.
Horrifying in parts and very boring in other parts, The Thaw isn't as good as it could have been but at it's best, it is creepy as hell for anyone afraid of bugs and it will make you think about the future.
