Review of The Texture of Falling (2018) by Jonathan F — 03 Jun 2018

I just watched this film at its Saturday night opening in NYC and I have to say, it is pure art. I found myself laughing often, which I felt sort of bad about, but there was a lot of offbeat humor and in general the way it was presented had an underlying humorous tone, but offbeat.

I am only saying this here because I spoke with writer/director Allred after the screening and told her that and she said it was one of the best compliments she's gotten. It is an unusual film and won't be for everyone, but I felt it was pure art.
