Review of Swiss Army Man (2016) by Jonathan F — 14 Jul 2016
One of the most shockingly gorgeous original films I have ever seen. I was very confused and appalled at the first 20 minutes however learned to love these two incredibly bizarre characters. Dark crude humor soared throughout this creative project was used for a purpose instead of a gag.
The survival mode Paul Dano creates is impressive and there is something about the soundtrack that just had this sense of care and jumped out of the film intentionally creating a comedy sense. One of the more memorable theater experiences that I have encountered in the 2010's.
