This movie is brutal. I saw this at the movies, just like the first one and man...this movie made the first remake look like a PG movie. I own the unrated DVD also. This movie is one hardcore horror film, and is definately worthy of viewing by fans of the original.
It is definately better then the the old TCM 2 and 3-leatherface...the ones from the 70s/80s or whatnot. The original 1974 film is pretty much just as good as this film. Actually, I like this one a little better.
But I own the entire series(originals and remakes)...with the exception of TCM 2 with Dennis Hopper from the 70s or 80s or whenever it came out. that one was never that good to me. Part 3 was better then that one.
..but only see the unrated version of "Leatherface" because the R cuts out just about all the blood. its like watching a Texas Chainsaw Massacre without the massacre...lol. but back to this one.
..this movie is awesome. R Lee Erney(i think thats how his name is spelled...the guy from Full Metal Jacket) is one sick twisted sadistic f**ker in this film...way more twisted then he already was in the first remake.
