Review of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning (2006) by Damien K — 17 Jul 2009
Hmmm... I liked the remake of the original, and this is almost as good. It starts off really bizarre, but then it gets typical. As soon as the victims were on the screen, I wanted them dead, but I didn't think the crazy family was as cool as they were in "Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2".
It was really in a stressful way, so I guess it succeeded in intent, but it really told you very little about Leatherface, and like I said before, much of it was just typical psycho thriller.
