Review of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning (2006) by Daniel K — 08 Aug 2010
An impressive sequel, or prequel, to the 2003 film, thats managed to be even more gruesome and violent. Its great to see how it all began with the backstory of Leatherface finally being told. The four young adults (Chrissie, Eric, Dean & Bailey) are all likeable characters, especially the brother bond between Eric & Dean.
Sherrif Hoyt is probably more of a villain than Leatherface will ever be as well. Overall it will keep Horror fans happy and fans of the TCM films should also be pleased :).
