Review of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning (2006) by Habibiehakim — 11 Feb 2022
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning surprisingly have a lot of better material than Marcus Nispel Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the movie have a better story, a better performance, it's more gory, it's more scary, and the most important thing is the chases scene is not too long and it's not boring which was my big problem on the previous remake, I really really did think The Beginning was a great movie, I have a very uncomfortable experience throughout the film in the good way, one noticable change in terms of a performance is by the returning actor R.
Lee Ermey who is I found much better in here because I found him quite annoying in the remake and in this one he's just pure evil, overall The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning is surprisingly a great movie, it's not as great or even near the original, and the reason why i'm not giving the movie 8.
5 or 9 is because I did still think Leatherface: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre III is a slightly better film, but it's still a great prequel overall.
