You guys warned me...

PLOT:A long time ago, a factory worker gives birth violently to a monster of a child. She dies and the baby is thrown in the trash. A couple takes him in and raises him. After his uncle (R. Lee Ermey) kills a cop after Leatherface for murder, he pretends to take charge of the sheriff's dept. and calls himself Sheriff Hoyt. They also find a taste for human flesh and a joy for killing them. Meanwhile, Dean Hill (Taylor Handley) and his friends are on a trip to take him to the MARINES on a draft when they are threatened by a biker and in a bad wreck into a cow on the road. Before th biker kills them, Sheriff Hoyt comes in and takes them hostage, except for Eric's girlfriend Chrissie (Jordana Brewster) who is launched out of the window and forced to save her friends. It's not that bad of a plot if it would've just been executed right. But it is executed in a way of it ending up grotesque.

ACTING:The acting is pretty decent for a movie that almost nothing can be done for, but some performances are still mediocre.

SCORE:Good horror score, but borrowed from its great predecessor; THE TCM.

EFFECTS:This was the part that tries to lift the movie up. The gore is what the whole movie's plot relies on to make work, but it does no good, just makes gruesome effects.

OTHER CONTENT:This movie did not scare, or even try to scare. The movie relied on gore and grotesque scenes to get its ratings and names. All it did was gross me out and at times made me laugh from how ridiculous it was. This tries too hard to be something through grotesque effects, but all it ends up being is pathetic and gross.

OVERALL, a sucky horror movie with grotesque execution, decent acting, borrowed score, and good effects; but the movie didn't scare-it just grossed out and turned laughable.
